Young leaders grow fastest when they create structure around learning. The goal is not to have every answer early, but to improve the quality of decisions over time.
Ask for specific feedback
General feedback is hard to act on. Ask peers, managers, and clients where communication was unclear, where execution slowed down, and what would have created more confidence.
Document decisions
Writing down decisions creates a useful record of your thinking. It also makes it easier to revisit assumptions when outcomes are different from expectations.
Practice concise communication
Leadership often improves when communication gets simpler. State the goal, the tradeoff, the decision, and the next step.
Build a repeatable rhythm
Weekly reflection, monthly goal checks, and regular project retrospectives make growth visible and easier to sustain.
